The Cockpit

The Cockpit panel

The "Cockpit" panel is located at the bottom-right side of the main window. From this panel you "steer" your vehicle!

It is generic to all instruments, so e.g. changing "course" will affect all active instruments that are using course information.

The values can be changed with the up-down buttons located at the right side of the input boxes, or typed directly into the input boxes. Holding the up-down buttons will automatically increment or decrement the values until released.

In some situations values cannot be changed, for example when in "auto" mode with the GPS instrument, the course cannot be changed because it is taken from the waypoint information in the waypoint file.

In GPS navigate mode the arrow keys can also be used to change course and velocity: left-right arrow for course and up-down for speed. Note that the cursor should be focused on the GPS instrument and not at one of the cockpit input fields to use this function!
