The Menu

The Instrument Menu

The "Instrument" menu items are also represented by large buttons at the right side of the NemaTalker window. It is up to the user to use either the menu or the buttons to open an instrument.

Common to all instruments

Common to all instruments is the box above. Here you can tell NemaTalker to calculate a checksum for each sentence, and the interval in seconds that the sentences have to be send to the selected communications port. So setting the value to 3 means that every 3 seconds the selected sentences will be transmitted.

Setting the Transmit Interval to 0 (zero) will fire a "single shot", each time you click the start or continue button on the instrument.
