"Hidden" functions

A few functions are not directly visible in a menu, because they will normally not be used.

The Remove License function

If - for any reason - you want to remove your license information from the registry, you can use this function. Be sure you save and write down this information before you remove it so that you can add it later when needed.

To remove your license information, open the About box under the "Help" menu. Press the "Alt" key, hold down and click the "OK" button. A confirmation window will occur. If you click "Yes" all license information will be removed from the registry.

The View Registry function

Most settings and values of the different instruments, and also your license data, are filed in the Windows registry. You can make all of this information visible by opening the Trace Window, hold down the "Alt" key while clicking with the left mouse button in the Trace window. Below is an example:

The information is also written to the log file when you have a log file open. Sailsoft can ask you to send this information to be able to solve errors.
